Valentine's Day

Hello There!

Shades of pink and red, bouquets of flowers, heart-shaped boxes filled with assorted chocolates and candlelit dinners are all things that I love. So it may come as a surprise when I tell you that Valentine's Day isn't all that special to me.When I asked the mister if we should do the usual this year for Vday, he replied;"Chinese food takeout? Hell yeah!"He gets me.

We have been married just over two years and have been dating for just shy of seven years. Special dates are fun, but the mister is pretty darn good to me all year round. Each time that Valentine's Day rolls around we usually spend it like any other day and end it with our Chinese food tradition and some bubbly.

Whether you're going on a date or celebrating Galentine's day instead, this outfit is festive without being a red and pink, heart patterned onesie. Slipping into that at the end of the night is, indeed, optional though!

Do you celebrate Valentine's Day? I always love staying in and clinking glasses over the fact that we get to avoid the crowds and just enjoy each other!
