My Holiday Wish List

Hello there!

I know what you're thinking whoa Alex, pump the breaks. It's only October! Oh, believe me, I know. However, my mother is the most organized person that I know, yesterday she asked for my Christmas list and it inspired me to start a little gift guide series.

These are, in fact, the items that I am actually asking for and I thought this would be a great jumping off point. I hope that it gives you some ideas for lovely things to also ask for.

1. Plaid Throw // Who doesn't adore a soft and cozy throw blanket. Toss it on the couch for snuggly days or keep it in your car for sporting events. Plaid is timeless and the darker colors help it stay clean a lot longer. Another great option is a blanket scarf, small enough to wear as a scarf but still thick and comfortable.

2. Kate Spade Watch // A perfect, everyday watch that is neutral enough to go with everything, but doesn't lack on charm.

3. Bauble Bar Statement Earrings // Statement earrings that can take a little black dress (or any dress) to the next level. Wear these day-to-day to add a bit of glamour to your outfit.

4. Rebecca Minkoff Bag // Mmm, this little nude crossbody bag is so pretty, I could just stare at it. The quilted pattern, gold chain hardware, and the perfect size to carry all of your daily essentials. If I get this (fingers crossed) I could definitely see this becoming my primary purse.

5. Ralph Lauren Plaid Gloves // For the love of plaid, I need these gloves. The multicolor pattern means that these will go with, virtually, everything. These timeless gloves will keep my hands warm but also continue to for years down the road.

6. FujiFilm Polaroid Camera // I am a bit of a shutter bug and slightly (seriously) obsessed with the color yellow, so this is right up my street. Capture beautiful moments with this adorable polaroid camera. The hipster inside of me is really pulling for this to be under the tree on Christmas morning.

7. Sole Society Flats // A pair of leopard flats are at the very top of my list. I can already see myself styling these with a plaid shirt and some dark wash skinny jeans. I have done quite a bit of research and these from Sole Society have the best rating and best price for the quality.

8. J. Crew Chambray Top // Chambrays in my wardrobe are practically a staple, except mine is currently ripped, missing a button and collecting coffee stains. Therefore I think that it is time to say farewell to one and welcome in another lovely shirt.

I hope that I have given you some inspiration whether you're on your way to the mall or jotting down your list right now!
