Urban Decay Naked Skin Foundation Review

Hello there!

Rarely do I try out new foundations, due to the sheer fact that my face is so sensitive, I would most likely break out like crazy. That being said I have a foundation review for you today. After ages of contemplating this purchase and going through two samples, I finally bit the bullet and I am glad that I did.

The Urban Decay Naked Skin Weightless Ultra Definition Liquid Makeup, firstly has an incredibly long name, ok, but really is a truly weightless foundation. It takes one pump to cover my entire face and sets completely within five minutes, I highly recommend waiting to set it with a powder to see how it will settle on you and whether or not you may need it. The finish is demi-matte, perfect for the summer time when you are trying to fight any pesky oily moments.

The shade range is rather large and the coding makes choosing your right shade very simple. Colors ending in .5 have a stronger pink undertone whereas the .0 is more of a yellow undertone. My shade is 3.5 and I honestly believe that I would be better suited for a 2.5 especially in the winter, however, that is not an option. The 3.5 is a great match for me with a tan, another great reason to wear it during the summer months. The consistency is liquid like, but not extremely runny, making it blend extremely easy.

Coverage wise it is light to medium and can be easily built up. I get about seven hours of wear without noticing any sort of fading, and believe it or not I think it looks better and more natural as I wear it. I do have dry to normal skin and think that the finish and versatility of this foundation would be perfect for those with oily skin as well.

Due to the demi-matte finish, I like to spray the hell out of my face using MAC Fix+. This is technically a toner and will not affect the longevity of your makeup, however it helps beautifully blend your makeup and create a lovely canvas.

Are you in the market for a new foundation that is light coverage and helps to blur any imperfections? Than I highly recommend getting a sample of this!
